For a long time, I felt hairdressing in New York had been missing something and had somehow lost its way. Salons had become too impersonal, too factory-like, treating clients like dollar signs with hair on top. The care and attention had gone. We opened our salon in 2017 to be the antithesis of this trend, I told our team  "Imagine a salon environment that’s like ‘Cheers meets Christian Dior, that’s what we should be striving to achieve". That perfect balance of luxury and expert craftsmanship but in a delightfully warm, friendly environment.
